The My Pick TV Code of Practice is designed to ensure that we avoid any unwarranted infringement of privacy in our programmes, or in connection with the acquisition of any materials included within our programmes.

This privacy policy sets out how My Pick TV uses and protects any information that you provide when you use the My Pick TV website.

 

At My Pick TV, we are committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected.  Should we ask you to provide certain information, by which you can be identified when using this website, you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

 

My Pick TV reserve the right to modify this policy in the future, so you are advised to check this page, from time to time, in order to ensure that you are happy with any changes.  This policy is effective from 1st Sept. 2012.

(iv) You may request details of personal information which we hold about you under the Data Protection Act 1998, however, a small fee will be payable. If you would like a copy of any information held about you, please contact us via email at privacy@mypicktv.com.

(v) If you believe that any information we are holding about you is incorrect, or incomplete, please contact us via email at privacy@mypicktv.com.  We will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.

 

Cookies

 

A cookie is a small file which asks permission to be placed on your computer's hard drive.  Once you agree, the file is added and the cookie helps analyse web traffic or lets you know when you visit a particular site.  Cookies allow web applications to respond to you as an individual. We reserve the right to use traffic log cookies to identify which pages are being used.  This helps us to analyse data about webpage traffic and improve our website by tailoring it to our visitors’ needs.  We only use this information for statistical analysis purposes before removing the data from our systems.
